Job Title: PeopleSoft Security Administrator
Job Description: Location: Richmond, VA / 12+ Months Contract

Responsible for input, edits and deletes to end user security in PeopleSoft system. PeopleSoft System Security Specialist - working within Cardinal Security team to support system security as well as supporting end user help desk ticket processes.

Local candidates strongly preferred
Must be available for face to face interview, NO exceptions.

Skills Needed:
  • 3 Years PeopleSoft Security Administration experience Required

  • 5 Years System Implementation Required

Description:
  • The primary responsibility of the PeopleSoft System Security Specialist is to ensure that all financial/human resource system security request processing is completed based on policies and procedures.

  • Additionally, this resource will be required to process the end user help desk tickets by distributing them to the correct module, and uploading them to an access database for the team to work them.

  • This resource will be expected to perform add/update/removal tasks for security access and resolve help desk tickets related to security, workflow and some technical issues as assigned to the Security Team.

  • Resource will also participate in monthly, quarterly and annual security reviews.

  • Resource will assist with the review and maintenance of security forms, job aids and security handbooks.

  • Resource will prepare and submit reports to management on help desk tickets daily, weekly and annually.

  • Resource will file and maintain copies of security request and support for security reviews.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Security Module including user setup, preference, roles and permission lists.

  • Knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft Workflow routings and approvals.

  • Experience working within PeopleSoft using tools like PeopleTools, PS query and SQL etc.

  • Troubleshooting experience resolving Security functional, technical and Workflow related issues.

  • Experience in maintaining and following a functional process that involves monitoring of e-mails/Forms for security requests.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual security reviews for compliance with organization rules and objectives.

  • Review/update Security forms, job aids and security handbooks.

  • Experience working with Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Ability to compile data, analyze data related to system issues, and to present findings.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with team independently.

  • Working knowledge of a help desk support system to facilitate assignment of help desk tickets to appropriate Modules (AP, AR, GL, PA, PR, TA, Payroll, HR/Ben, Business Intelligence, Security, Tech).

  • Create/submit Daily, Weekly, and Annual Ticket Reports for Management
